Scheduled for June 12-14 2024, this event invites graduate students from labs across the midwest to receive training in advanced topics in ultrafast spectroscopy and imaging. Collaborate, network, and engage with experts in a scenic venue, centered around accelerating research and career development.
Workshops on technical methods in ultrafast spectroscopy, imaging, and polariton spectroscopy will be delivered by distinguished researchers in these fields from across the midwest including:
Students will also have the opportunity to present their own research during the two evening poster sessions.
The workshop will be held at the Potawatomi Inn (do NOT book your room through the Inn website), located in the beautiful Pokagon State Park, Lake James, Angola, IN. The inn hosts a large number of indoor and outdoor amenities and activites such as an indoor pool, sauna, lake front beach, hiking trails, horseback riding, and more.
As a student attendee, you will share a room with 2 queen beds with one other attendee. You may submit the name of a preferered roomate upon sign up.

Reservations will be capped at 50 for this inaugural event. In the event of interest exceeding availability, spots will be given to produce a balance of research lab and demographic representation.
The cost to attending graduate students for the 2 night stay and 4 meals will be $300.
